Daudov announces participation of 9000 fighters from Chechnya in battles in Ukraine

More than 20,000 Chechen fighters have been in Ukraine since the beginning of the special military operation, and 9000 fighters from Chechnya stay there now, the chair of the Chechen parliament reports.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that Ramzan Kadyrov regularly reports about sending groups of volunteers to Ukraine, including those from other regions of Russia. In particular, on October 10, the leader of Chechnya announced that more than 200 volunteers had left Grozny for Ukraine.

On August 31, Magomed Daudov, the chair of the Chechen parliament, announced that more than 5000 volunteers from among the residents of Chechnya had been sent to Ukraine since the beginning of the special military operation.

“Since the beginning of the special military operation, more than 20,000 of our fighters have been sent to the zone of its conduct. At present, 9029 of our brother-fighters stay in the zone of the special military operation,” Magomed Daudov, the chair of the Chechen parliament, has reported today.

It should be noted that on June 6, Magomed Daudov announced on air of the “Grozny” TV Channel that 8172 people had been sent from Chechnya to Ukraine, including 1794 fighters from other regions and 1360 volunteers from Chechnya.
