Prosecutor demands 15 years in colony for Anatoly Rykov

The state prosecutor has demanded 15 years in a high security colony and a fine of 120 million roubles for Anatoly Rykov, a former Vice-Mayor of Sochi, who is accused of receiving a multi-million rouble bribe.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Sergey Yurin, a Vice-Mayor of Sochi, and his predecessor Anatoly Rykov were detained on October 17, 2018 on suspicion of taking a bribe, and then arrested.

According to investigators, in 2015-2018, Rykov, Yurin, Andrei Leventyuk, an official of the city administration, and Nikolai Grebenyuk, an advocate, being members of an organized grouping, received bribes in the amount of 120 million roubles from entrepreneurs for providing a land plot and issuing building permits.

The Khamovniki Court of Moscow continues considering the case against Anatoly Rykov, a former vice-mayor of Sochi, who is accused of taking bribes. The state prosecutor has demanded 15 years of imprisonment for him, the RBC reported on September 12, citing Rykov's advocate, Alexei Gavrishev.

According to the prosecution, Rykov must spend these 15 years in a high security colony, and also pay a fine of 120 million roubles. Besides, the prosecutor insists on a ban for him on holding certain posts, the "Kuban 24" writes.
