Two residents of Ingushetia suspected of discrediting militaries

In a social network, Ingush law enforcers found posts of two local residents and treated them as discrediting Russian militaries. Administrative cases have been initiated against the post authors, the local Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that residents of Southern Russia are periodically coming out to pacifist actions, while law enforcers are regularly reporting on bringing activists and local residents to justice under the articles about discrediting the Russian Armed Forces and spreading fakes about them.

While monitoring the Internet, employees of the Ingush MIA, together with their colleagues from the republic's branch of the FSB, found two cases of discrediting the Russian Army by local residents, the MIA has reported today.

In the first case, the actions aimed at discrediting the Russian Armed Forces were committed by a female resident of Ingushetia in her social network page. In the second case, on February 24, a local resident posted a comment in his social network page, which, according to investigators, was also aimed at discrediting the Russian Army.

The MIA's reports provide neither detailed information about the posts placed in social media, nor the suspects' names.
