Yerevan refutes Baku's statement about border shelling

The information that Armenian militaries have shelled the positions of Azerbaijani soldiers located in the Kelbadjar District has nothing to do with reality, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

Today, the Azerbaijani MoD announced a shootout on the Armenian border. According to the ministry, last night Armenian soldiers opened fire on the positions of Azerbaijani soldiers stationed in the Kelbadjar District, after which the response fire was opened.

"The Azerbaijani MoD has spread untrue information that on February 23, units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on the Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border," the Armenian MoD has written on the Facebook.
