KBR blogger hospitalized after being attacked by official

The state of health of Anastasia Emelyanova, who was attacked by an official at the Baksan Mayoralty, has worsened. Doctors have sent her for treatment at hospital, Emelyanova herself said.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the blogger, Anastasia Emelyanova, reported that an official had attacked her during the conflict in the Baksan Mayoralty. She released a video of the incident; and the police launched an investigation under the article on obstructing the journalists' professional activities.

Due to received traumas and severe stress, Anastasia's health deteriorated sharply; she was given a referral for hospitalization at the Prokhladny District Hospital, she herself told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The blogger said that she had undergone a forensic medical examination; and the results thereof were handed over to the Baksan police, where a preliminary check is underway of the attack on her.

Emelyanova said that she went to the Baksan Mayoralty administration at the request of a young woman, Zalina, an orphan and mother of three children. Zalina addressed Anastasia on the Instagram and asked for help in obtaining information about the progress of her queue for a land plot.
