A resident of Dagestan confesses to revenge murder

The Dagestani police detained a man for murder in Makhachkala. According to video of the interrogation, the detainee said that he had avenged the murdered man for his “Muslim sister.”

“Today, a murder has taken place in Makhachkala. It has been preliminary found that a 46-year-old resident of the village inflicted multiple stab wounds to a 34-year-old resident of Makhachkala during the scandal,” reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan on Instagram.

“Why did you kill a man?” asks the voice-over in the video. “Because he killed my Muslim sister ... I punished him by the will of Allah. Allah inspired me to punish him. If I don’t punish him, Allah will punish me,” says the detainee in the video.
