Nephew of disappeared resident of North Ossetia associates her disappearance with fortune-telling

Rimma Gagloeva, a disappeared resident of North Ossetia, was engaged in fortune-telling and removing the evil eye effect, which could be the reason for her disappearance, suggests her nephew Giorgi Gagloev. According to him, a video appeal to Ramzan Kadyrov concerning the disappearance gained over half a million views, but there was no reaction from the leader of Chechnya.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on February 6, taxi driver Adam Arsaev from Ingushetia was taking passenger Rimma Gagloeva from North Ossetia from Grozny airport, and later, they stopped answering phone calls. The car of Adam Arsaev was found near the border of Ingushetia and Chechnya. Rimma Gagloeva’s nephew asked Ramzan Kadyrov to help in the search for the missing aunt.

MMA fighter Giorgi Gagloev reported that he had not yet received any information about the whereabouts of his aunt. He suggests that the woman could be kidnapped because of her activities.

“My aunt was engaged in fortune-telling, and she was able to remove the evil eye effect from a child. Yes, I know that it is forbidden in the Muslim religion, but she did it in Ossetia, and we will figure it out ourselves. If this interferes with the law, let her be punished according to the laws of the Russian Federation,” Giorgi Gagloev said.

In Chechnya, the campaign to persecute healers and psychics was launched in 2013, when, against the backdrop of the fight against magicians and sorcerers announced by Ramzan Kadyrov, dozens of people were detained, and some of them went missing. In 2019, the authorities of Chechnya resumed the persecution of people providing occult services.
