Week from January 31 to February 6 passed without victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week from January 31 to February 6, 2022, there were no reports about the dead and wounded persons as a result of the ongoing conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.
Native of Dagestan convicted for terror acts in Moscow
On February 4, the court sentenced Magomed Nurov, a native of Dagestan, to life imprisonment, finding him involved in the 2010 terror acts committed in Moscow metro stations.
The court also satisfied the claim of the Moscow Metro against Nurov for 17 million roubles. The court did not consider the claim for payment of compensations to the victims.
