Lost Nagorno-Karabakh resident returned to Armenia

Andranik Alexanyan, a resident of the city of Berdzor in the Kashatag District of Nagorno-Karabakh, was returned to the Armenian party through the mediation of Russian peacemakers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the 69-year-old resident of Berdzor got lost in the border area and was taken prisoner by Azerbaijani militaries.

Before the 2020 war, the above Berdzor resident, who found himself on the Azerbaijani side, lived in the village of Gazarapat, which came under Baku's control after the war, Narek Alexanyan, the Mayor of Berdzor, has explained.
