Azerbaijan hands Armenian shepherd over to Russian peacemakers

A resident of Armenia, who got lost today near the Azerbaijani border, has been handed over to Russian peacemakers, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Armenian Ombudsperson, Arman Tatoyan, announced that the Azerbaijani militaries had kidnapped a shepherd from the border village of Teg in the Syunik Region.

"On January 13, Surik Matevosyan, while getting lost, crossed the Azerbaijani border and occurred in the territory of the Lachin District of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. He was handed over to Russian peacemakers," the Azerbaijani MoD has stated.
