Kadyrov blames those Chechens who claim kidnappings of their relatives of supporting terrorism

The information about the mass kidnappings of relatives in Chechnya is being spread by the bloggers who are trying to slander the authorities, and who support terrorism, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that, following other Kadyrov's critics, Aslan Artsuev, the director of the "Human Rights Centre Ichkeria", has reported about the kidnapping of four of his relatives living in Chechnya.

Mr Kadyrov has suggested that "someone of those insulted by the bloggers was involved in the kidnappings."

"A Chechen never forgives when the honour of his family, especially a woman, is touched on. And they should understand that if they have touched on the honour of my family, my mother, sisters, wife and daughters, I will go to any trial, but I will not leave this person in peace ... Probably, some of the people whom they had insulted kidnapped their wives and sisters," Ramzan Kadyrov has stated.

He also accused oppositional bloggers of persecuting the families of Chechen law enforcers abroad and warned that "no one has cancelled the blood feud."
