Six violators of ban on visiting Nagorno-Karabakh detained in Azerbaijan

A court in the Agdam District has arrested five local residents for 25 days each for attempting to enter without a permit the non-demined territories of Nagorno-Karabakh that came under Azerbaijan's control. The sixth member of the group was fined.

The detainees had tried in two cars to enter the non-demined territory by bypassing the checkpoint, while they had no permits to visit the conflict zone, the "Report.az" reported on November 23.

Five violators were arrested for 25 days; the sixth one, with account of his state of health, was fined by 200 manats (about USD 170, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), the publication says.
