On October 11-17, no victims of North-Caucasian armed conflict were recorded

During the week of October 11-17, 2021, during the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, no information about the perished or wounded persons was reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

Judicial chronicle

The arrest of Gazi Isaev, a former police head of the Dagestani Kizlyar ROVD (District Interior Division), a figurant in the case of the terror act committed in Moscow Metro in 2010, has been extended by three months. According to investigators, Isaev had joined the "Imarat Kavkaz", a terrorist organization banned in Russia, and provided militants thereof with information about law enforcers; and in 2010, he helped the female suicide bomber to get to Moscow and commit an explosion in the Metro.

Detentions

In seven Russian regions, including Dagestan, FSB officers detained 14 people on suspicion of financing the "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham", a terrorist organization banned in Russia. According to investigators, they had provided militants thereof with money under their ideological context.
