Armenian Ombudsperson claims shelling of border village

In the village of Yeraskh, Ararat Region, civilians' houses were shelled from the side of Azerbaijan, as a result bales of a villager's hay were burned down, Arman Tatoyan, the Ombudsperson of Armenia, has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 15, the village of Yeraskh and the nearby military positions were shelled by Azerbaijan, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

Shelling was also recorded in the evening on October 16, the Ombudsperson Tatoyan wrote in his Facebook. As a result, some 3000-4000 bales of hay belonging to a member of the Yeraskh community caught fire, Mr Tatoyan has added.

In its Telegram channel, the Azeri MoD has refuted the shelling accusations.
