Kadyrov invites Zakaev’s sons to come to Chechnya

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on September 15, on Instagram, Ramzan Kadyrov voiced threats against Akhmed Zakaev, a resident of Great Britain, and promised to “burn” him for mentioning the name of Akhmat Kadyrov. The leader of Chechnya also accused Akhmed Zakaev of not fulfilling his promise to return to Chechnya.

In his video appeal to Akhmed Zakaev, Magomed Daudov, the speaker of the Chechen parliament, said that relatives of Akhmed Zakaev would be forced to publicly condemn him if he did not stop criticizing the republic’s authorities. On the same day, it became known about the detention of Akhmed Zakaev’s relatives in the Achkhoi-Martan District, and then a video was posted on the Internet in which brothers of Akhmed Zakaev, living in Chechnya, threatened him with reprisals. “Akhmed went to where LGBT people live, because he himself is like them,” Ali Zakaev said.

In the video, Ramzan Kadyrov insults Akhmed Zakaev, mentions female animals and gays, and also calls on sons of Akhmed Zakaev to come to Chechnya and avenge their father’s humiliation. “If you are men, come home and kill me ... I kicked your father in the ass and took away Chechnya from him. Your father is not a man,” the leader of Chechnya says on the video.

Let us remind you that in September 2020, Akhmed Zakaev reported about the detention of his brothers, sisters, and nephews in Chechnya. Later, the Akhmed Zakaev’s relatives organized a gathering, where they demanded from migrants not to interfere in the affairs of Chechnya and declared their loyalty to Ramzan Kadyrov. Instagram users suggested that the relatives of Akhmed Zakaev were forced to speak out against him.
