On September 13-19, 2021, no one fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week of September 13-19, 2021, no killed or wounded in the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the “Caucasian Knot” based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Police torture and threats
Andzor Kudaev, an entrepreneur from Kabardino-Balkaria, claimed that he was forced by torture and threats to confess to illegal possession of a weapon and aiding and abetting a terrorist organization. During an interrogation, Andzor Kudaev spoke about the circumstances of his detention on August 4, about torture, threats to his family members, and about how a weapon had been planted to him.
The prosecutor’s version is based on the testimony that Andzor Kudaev gave as a suspect on August 5.
