Social network users criticize Chechen law enforcers for humiliating offenders

Inspectors of the traffic police (known as the GIBDD) of Chechnya have not only chastised the offenders of traffic rules, but also spread a video of the "prophylactic briefing" in social networks, thus, humiliating them, Instagram users have pointed out.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Chechen law enforcers are regularly reprimanding local residents for various violations and post videos of such talks with them on the Internet.

Prophylactic conversations are legal in themselves, but such videos can be published only with the consent of the offender, Evgeny Chernousov, a lawyer, told the "Caucasian Knot" earlier.

The Chechen GIBDD Branch got interested in a video clip posted in social networks that showed transportation of a man on the roof of the Oka car. A prophylactic talk was held with the offenders; the driver was punished under an administrative article for violating the rules for transporting people, the Branch has reported today on the Instagram public eldit_net.

The publication is accompanied by a video, in which after the demonstration of the offense, an officer of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) explains that the young driver was carrying his brother on the car roof.

Social network users have condemned law enforcers for spreading the video of the conversation. "The guys just got joked. <...> Is it necessary to film everything [on video] and post [in social networks]?" the user vip.malhkish_05 expressed his surprise. "As if no one was young and made stupid things, but we just have to discuss someone and trample on someone," the user a__kerimova__ has complained.
