The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 8, relatives of the Armenian prisoners of war began a protest action at the Erebuni airport after they received information that a plane, which had arrived from Azerbaijan, had not delivered any prisoners of war. On April 13, relatives of the Armenian military servicemen, who occurred in the Azerbaijani captivity, blocked the entrance to the administration of the Shirak Region, demanding a meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia.

Today, an official from the National Security Service (NSS) have met the relatives of the POWs. “We would prefer not to disclose the information that we received from the NSS officer, so as not to harm our relatives kept in captivity,” the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent was told by a father of a prisoner of war. According to him, the POWs’ relatives are satisfied that they have learned who is negotiating on the return of the Armenian POWs and how the negotiations are going on. After the meeting with the NSS officer, the POWs’ relatives unblocked the building of the Shirak regional administration.
