State bodies in charge of Beslan are under audit in North Ossetia

The Public Prosecutor's Office of North Ossetia is making complex audits of state bodies, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

Inspections have been undertaken at the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, Ministry of Education, Chief Department of the Ministry for Emergencies for the Republic, and in the "Beslan Revival Foundation," Federal State Institution (FSI) "Bureau for Social Medical Examination" and others.

"The motive for the prosecutor's audit was a collective appeal of the citizens who suffered from the Beslan act of terror on September 1-3, 2004," a spokesman of the Public Prosecutor's Office of North Ossetia has explained.

In the course of the actions, it has already become clear that the operation of the bodies responsible for medical and social rehabilitation of the terror act victims does not correspond to the requirements of the Federal Law "On Social Protection of Invalids" and other regulatory legal acts, they have underlined at the Office.
