Azerbaijan resident blown up by a mine in Nagorno-Karabakh

Bakhtiyar Makhmudov, a native of the Lachin District, died after being blown up by a mine near the village of Sugovushan in the Terter District.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a car with residents of the Fizuli District had blown up on a mine in the Djebrail District. One person perished; the whereabouts of two of his fellow travellers are being established, the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) reported on February 7.

On February 18, near the village of Sugovushan, Terter District, a civilian got blown up by a mine and died from received wounds, the "Turan" News Agency reported on the same day.

The explosion was confirmed by a law enforcement source from the Terter District, the "Turan" has added.

The casualty was Bakhtiyar Makhmud oglu Makhmudov, born in 1988, who lived in the village of Seidimli, Terter District, the APA News Agency reported on February 18.
