Analysts treat Nrnadzor villagers' fears about safety as far-fetched

Near the Armenian village of Nrnadzor, Azerbaijani militaries have already been replaced by border guards; and villagers should not worry about their safety, Telman Abilov, the head of the NGO "Military Lawyers", is sure. The border has been delineated there; its arrangement is being prepared, the Azerbaijani frontier service has assured.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Armen Tatoyan, the Armenian Ombudsperson, stated that Nrnadzor villagers cannot use about 200 hectares of gardens and pastures due to the proximity of the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

There are not militaries but border guards on the Azerbaijani border; and they pose no threat to residents of Armenia, Telman Abilov, the head of the Azerbaijani NGO "Military Lawyers", is sure.

In his opinion, the discontent of Nrnadzor villagers has to do with the fact that since 1993 there was no border line; and Armenian villagers "came to the Azerbaijani side in order to create infrastructure and run their agricultural activities."
