Action of Inal Djabiev's relatives in Tskhinvali is on for 37 days

Social network users have called on to support the mother of Inal Djabiev, who died after being interrogated by the police; the mother has been holding a protest action in a square of Tskhinvali, the capital of South Ossetia, for more than five weeks, demanding to punish those responsible for her son's death.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since December 4, a round-the-clock protest action organized by Djabiev's relatives has been held in central Tskhinvali. They demand the results of the inquiry into Inal's death.

For the 37th day already, Inal Djabiev's relatives are holding a protest action in Tskhinvali. "For the second month, the family and relatives of Inal Djabiev are on their protest action in Theatre Square in Tskhinvali," says a message in the chp_tskhinval group in the Instagram social network. As of 11:55 p.m. Moscow time on January 8, social network users had left 1236 likes and 66 comments to this post.

Most of them have called on to support Maya Djabieva, the mother of the deceased Inal.

"For the second month or more, she is mourning for her son (Inal Djabiev), while our eminent figures are drinking and having fun," the user kabisova_zarema has written.

Commentators have suggested that if there were more protesters, they would have their demands fulfilled faster.

"There are few people for the protest; they need more. Maybe then there will be some shift," the user zema__cocs__ believes.

"Can there someone sit warmly at home with their children? Why not go out and support this poor family?" the user bagaevazamira512 is indignant.
