Defendant in Tskaev's case ignores questions of victims' advocate

Azamat Tsugkiev, an operative agent, failed to explain the discrepancies in his testimony and in the excerpt from the hospital, where Vladimir Tskaev, a Vladikavkaz resident, was taken. During interrogation in court, Tsugkiev referred to the Russian Constitution in order not to answer the questions of the advocate of Tskaev's widow.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since January 2019, a court in North Ossetia is considering the case of the death of Vladimir Tskaev. On November 13, 2020, it turned out that the case files contain no CD with records from surveillance cameras in the building of the police station.

On November 1, 2015, Vladimir Tskaev, 39, a father of two children, died after being interrogated at a Vladikavkaz police station. Ten police officers were accused of involvement in his death.

During the five years passed since Tskaev's death, some of the defendants managed to acquire families. When the trial began, the defendant Alan Bigaev had two children under the age of 2.5 years; Spartak Buzoev had a four-month-old child; Atsamaz Datiev had three children under the age of five; Georgy Tsomaev had two children under four, and Azamat Tsugkiev had two children under 2 years old.

Alikhan Pukhaev, a blogger does not believe that the fact that the defendants had children during the trial may be related to their attempt to escape punishment.

"All these years, all those involved in the murder have been living a normal life, while they have deprived Zemfira Tskaeva and her family of the chance to live a normal life," said the blogger.
