Investigators report about two explosions near FSB building in Uchkeken

Today, two explosive devices have been activated in the village of Uchkeken, and law enforcers were injured in the second explosion, investigators report.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, six law enforcers have been injured when an explosive device was activated in the village of Uchkeken, while the attacker was killed in the explosion. The suicide bomber activated the explosive device during an attempt to detain him, when law enforcers prevented him from breaking into the territory where the operational-and-search measures were being carried out, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported.

According to the investigators, there were two explosions. It was the second explosion, in which all six law enforcers were injured. The explosive devices have not yet been identified.

According to sources, the first explosion took place at about 7:00 a.m. Moscow time, when an explosive device of low power detonated. While law enforcers were engaged in the operational-and-search activities at the place of the explosion, a man ran up to them and committed a suicide bombing, the "Interfax" reports.

There are no threats to the lives of the injured six law enforcers, Rashid Temrezov, the leader of Karachay-Cherkessia, states.
