Residents of Terter and Azerbaijani frontline villages report increased shelling
Shelling of the frontline Azerbaijani settlements has intensified, local residents report. Villagers complain that because of the shelling they are afraid to do their agricultural works and graze livestock.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 10, an agreement on ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone entered into force, but the parties to the conflict continued to report about battles and shelling attacks.

On October 13, at 7:00 a.m. local time, the shelling of Terter (the Azerbaijani city closest to the front line, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") from heavy cannons began, Murshid Mamedov, a resident of the city, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "Judging by the directions from which the roars of exploding shells were coming, the shelling was conducted within a wide radius, covering the villages all the way from the southeast to the northeast of the city; [...] in Terter, the shelling led to new destruction," he has stated.
According to Mr Mamedov, one of the shells hit an apartment on the second level of the block of flats known as "Khruschovka". "There was only a hole left instead thereof. By a happy chance, there was no one in the apartment," he has explained, adding that because of the shelling, there are almost no people left in the city.
Akiv Babazade, a resident of the village of Borsunlu, located northeast of Terter, also said about shelling intensification.
"Today, shelling attacks have lasted longer [than before]; and breaks between them were less frequent," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. The man has noted that in recent days, shells are flying with a wide spread. "Today, no shells have hit our village. They fell on our pasture. Because of the threats of such hits, we don't take cattle to graze," Mr Babazade has explained.
