Baku claims eight villages occupied by Azerbaijani Army

Ilham Aliev, President of Azerbaijan, has announced the capture of the village of Madagiz and seven more villages earlier controlled by Armenian militaries.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that combat actions have been going on in the Karabakh conflict zone since September 27. The martial law is in force in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan.

"Today, the Azerbaijani Army has liberated the Talysh village of the Terter District, the villages of Mekhdili, Chakhyrly, Ashagy Maralyan, Shaibei and Guidjag of the Djebrail District, and the village of Ashagi Abdurrakhmanly of the Fizuli District. Karabakh is Azerbaijan," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has translated Mr Aliev's pots on the Twitter.

Earlier, Ilham Aliev stated that Azeri Armed Forces had occupied the village of Madagiz (Matagis). He decided to rename Madagiz into Sugovushan, the "Sputnik Azerbaijan" has reported.

In his turn, Artsrun Ovannisyan, the spokesman of the Armenian operative headquarters, has ironically commented on the statement about the capture of Madagiz in his Facebook page: "Ask Ilyusha (Ilham Aliev, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), why then does he not visit Madagiz?" the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has translated Mr Ovannisyan's words.
