Trial of members of "Yarmuk" Jama'at is near its end in Kabardino-Balkaria

The Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria is finalizing the legal proceedings on the criminal case related to members of the "Yarmuk" Jama'at. The jury has retired to pass their verdict to two defendants - Magomed Zhantuev and Ismail Baluev, who were detained on April 29, 2005, in one of garages in Kalyuzhny Street of Nalchik.

The persons on trial were accused under a number of Articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: illegal arms possession, illegal crossing the state border, arms contraband, participation in an illegal armed formation, infringement on life of employees of law enforcement bodies, etc.
