On July 30, it became known that the Jermuk villagers resumed their watch on the outskirts of the Amulsar mine after an incident with new guards from the "Lydian Armenia" Company.

Opponents of the Amulsar gold deposit gathered at the foot of the mountain, where the activists' watch was removed at night. The activists organized a motor procession from different regions of Armenia. According to the protesters, the number of the people, who gathered for the action, exceeded 1000.

The entrance to the Amulsar mine was blocked by the guards from the "Lydian Armenia" Company. Policemen lined up in front of the guards, and the activists found themselves on the roadway to the village of Jermuk. The police called on the protesters to clear the road and then began to force them out of the roadway. A clash occurred between the policemen and the protestors. Some activists were detained, although their number has not been yet reported.
