Chechen woman claims attempt to whitewash those guilty of her daughter's death
The report by the "Grozny" TV Company is whitewashing the husband of the deceased woman from Gudermes, her mother has stated, insisting that her daughter was killed. The Imam, who buried the woman at night, explained his actions by the hot weather.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in Chechnya, a murder of his wife by a Gudermes resident became known; the casualty was buried at night.
The plot screened by the "Grozny" TV Company was censored, said the woman who called herself the casualty's mother. She has rejected the version that the young woman died by accident during an epileptic seizure.
"They say that she died after she was beaten up because of the child allowance. Having received the money, she went to the marketplace and bought a TV-set and something else. The mother-in-law was unhappy and told her son about it," says another person's audio message posted on the WhatsApp.
The husband of the deceased woman said that he had nothing to do with her death.
According to Turpal-Ali Abuzaidov, a medical assistant, he had examined the woman's body and found no signs of violent death.
Abdul-Karim Rashidov, the Imam of the local mosque, has confirmed that the woman was buried at night. According to his story, otherwise "the corpse would begin to decompose."
However, the Instagram user erica_777_zamuzhem_ believes that the woman was buried at night in order to hide signs of beating.
Residents of Chechnya have also noted that it was not customary for the region to bury people at night.
