On January 13-19, 2020, no one fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week of January 13-19, 2020, no victims to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were registered. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Special and counterterrorist operations

On January 17, 2020, law enforcers conducted a raid in front of the "Tangim" Mosque in Makhachkala. The raid involved more law enforcers than usual, and they stopped not only car drivers, but also pedestrians, wrote down their passport data and mobile phone numbers. No detainees were reported.

The provided statistics cannot reflect the number of victims with the 100 percent accuracy. Besides, new facts about the events of the reporting period become sometime known after the statistics had been already published on the "Caucasian Knot".

Let us remind you that during the previous week, also no victims to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were registered. However, during the week of December 30-January 5, in Ingushetia, six persons fell victim to the armed conflict.
