Most Chechnya natives returned to Kondopoga

Most of the Chechnya natives, who had lest the Karelian city of Kondopoga after massive disorders that burst out there early in September, have made decisions on their future residence, the Spiritual Moslem Administration (SMA) of Karelia stated today.

"During the Sacred Ramadan Month, 25 refugees resettled to Petrozavodsk Mosque, and the rest of them returned to Kondopoga," a source at the SMA of Karelia noted. According to the Administration, after September disorders, 46 persons were forced to leave Kondopoga; for about a month they lived in the territory of a summer camp near Petrozavodsk.

As of today, all the refugees have defined their residence, one family has left for their homeland, all the rest have come back to Kondopoga, the "Interfax" reports.

We remind you that the cause of disorders in the city of Kondopoga of the Republic of Karelia was a massive fight between the locals and Caucasian natives. Consequently, almost all the members of national minorities left Kondopoga.
