Three Georgian citizens released in South Ossetia

Three citizens of Georgia fined in South Ossetia for violating the border have been transferred to Georgia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 13, a South-Ossetia court imposed fines on three Georgian residents after finding them guilty of breaching the border. All of them, according to the KGB (Committee for State Security) of South Ossetia, were detained on November 9 and 11. Vazha Gaprindashvili, another Georgian villager, was prosecuted. Unlike the other three detainees, he crossed the border deliberately, the KGB claims.

On Thursday, November 14, the three detainees – Zurab Tukhiashvili, Ramaz Zadishvili and David Michelashvili – were handed over to Georgian law enforcers, the Georgian TV Channel One has reported.
