Blogger Tumso Ambdurakhmanov highlights difference of Imam Shamil and Akhmat Kadyrov

Akhmat Kadyrov went over to the side of Russia and began fighting with those who called to fight against Russia, the blogger, Tumso Ambdurakhmanov, has reminded after Ramzan Kadyrov's criticizing Imam Shamil. The blogger treats the dispute of Dagestani Muftiate with the head of Chechnya as a provocation of an interethnic conflict.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on the 20th anniversary of the militants' invasion into Dagestan, Ramzan Kadyrov called the thesis "Chechen terrorists attacked Dagestan" false. He also compared the events of 20 years ago with the Caucasian War of the 19th century, accusing Imam Shamil of repressions against Chechens for their unwillingness to confront Russia. Residents of Dagestan have condemned Kadyrov's statements.

Tumso Abdurakhmanov cited several fragments from Akhmat Kadyrov's speeches during his confrontation with Moscow. In one of the records, Kadyrov Senior confirms that in 1996, he called on Chechens to kill "as much Russians as they can."

The blogger expressed his confidence that the dispute about the personality of Imam Shamil between Chechens and Dagestanis is a provocation initiated with the knowledge of the federal authorities.

YouTube users have generally supported Abdurakhmanov's findings.
