Number of detainees at actions in Tbilisi reaches five

A participant in the "Immortal Regiment" march has received a warning for using Soviet symbols; four participants in the counteraction have been accused of hooliganism and disobedience to the police. Activists booed and whistled President Salome Zurabishvili, when she laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Tbilisi.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today in Tbilisi a participant of the "Immortal Regiment" march was detained for using Soviet symbols. In parallel to the "Immortal Regiment", a counteraction with anti-Russian slogans took place in the capital of Georgia.

A 50-year-old participant in the "Immortal Regiment", detained today in the "Vake" Park, received an official warning for using Soviet symbols, the Georgian police report. The four detained participants in the counteraction, aged from 36 to 44 years, will face an administrative trial for petty hooliganism and police disobedience. All the five detainees are now at large, the Georgian Public Broadcaster has reported on its website today with a reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The report does not specify what the hooliganism was about.

The participants of the anti-Russian action held in the "Vake" Park today booed and whistled President Salome Zurabishvili, who laid a wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and congratulated the veterans on the Victory Day. The activists chanted "Traitor" and "Slave", the "Georgia Online" has informed.
