Azeri authorities treat Kadyrov's statement about AZAL plane crash as belated
The Azeri Govt has treated the awarding of AZAL flight attendants and the condolences expressed by Ramzan Kadyrov as belated, but acceptable.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 27, Kadyrov announced that he had decided to present the surviving flight attendants Zulfugar Asadov and Aidan Ragimli for the award "For Merits to the Chechen Republic". The head of Chechnya has also expressed condolences to the Azeri President and victims’ relatives.
The position of the head of Chechnya was considered acceptable for Azerbaijan, although it came late, a source in the Azeri Govt has informed.
"The investigation has shown, and the Azerbaijani side also has precise information, that the Chechen leadership was not guilty of the incident," the source has explained, believing that Russian militaries are guilty of the plane incident, the “Trend” outlet writes.
Let us remind you that on January 6, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev condemned Russian authorities for refusing to admit guilt in the plane crash and demanded that those responsible for the air disaster be punished.
