Man, who has served his term for attempt on Kadyrov, arrested in Moscow

Lors Khamiev, a native of Chechnya, has been arrested in Moscow on suspicion of killing an Azerbaijani taxi driver. Khamiev has served his eight-year-long prison term for plotting an assassination attempt on Ramzan Kadyrov. Sources have linked the driver's murder with the mass brawl in the "Neolit" Café.

Garib Orudjev, a taxi driver, was shot dead shortly after the mass brawl in the cafe, where a conflict of natives of Chechnya with those of Azerbaijan occurred on February 14, the "Sputnik Azerbaijan" reports quoting its sources.

According to sources, the conflict was preceded by mutual insults in social networks. The incident caused resonance: it was discussed by Adam Delimkhanov, a State Duma MP from Chechnya, and Polad Bulbul ogly, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia.

Orudjev was in the "Neolit" Cafe during the brawl and participated in the conflict in social networks before the incident, the portal of Society for the Development of Russian Historical Education "Double-Headed Eagle" points out with reference to the head of its Chechen Branch.

According to this information, Orudjev and his opponent, a native of Chechnya, had been friends, but then quarrelled. The countrymen of both opponents were involved in the conflict with mutual ethnically-based insults. As a result, Orudjev's former friend was beaten up, and the attack on the visitors of the "Neolit" Cafe was a revenge for this beating.
