Source links Mirzekhanov's detention with mass brawl in Moscow

A native of Dagestan, Alibek Mirzekhanov, has been detained on suspicion of involvement in the brawl in the "Neolit" Cafe, a law enforcement source has informed. Mirzekhanov's subscribers have posted the hashtag #свободуалибеку (Freedom to Alibek) on the Instagram.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the blogger disappeared after the apartment, where he lived with his family, was visited by Moscow law enforcers.

The TASS reports, referring to its sources, that law enforcers regard the blogger to be "an accomplice of the crime committed on February 14 in the 'Neolit' Café."

According to various sources, from 50 to 100 people, natives of Chechnya and Azerbaijan, took part in the brawl. The conflict, according to sources, was preceded by mutual insults in social networks.

In Mirzehanov's Facebook page, an appeal to subscribers has appeared. The author asks people, who had "contacted Alibek since morning on February 14 until the time of his detention" to respond and render relevant information.

Some commentators have suggested that law enforcers got access to the blogger's account.
