A resident of Chechnya publicly apologizes for criticizing doctors
On November 25, on the air of the Chechen TV Channel, a resident of the Avtury village called a mistake his post with the video criticizing employees of a local medical institution. The story on the local TV Channel continued the practice of public apologies in the republic.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that residents of Chechnya repeatedly made public apologies. So, on August 5, a woman from the Grozny District, who reported in WhatsApp about an attempt of a child kidnapping in the street, explained her act by "emotions."
On November 23, a video in which a woman in a white uniform was loading boxes into a car appeared on WhatsApp. "Medicines brought to a hospital are loaded in a taxi and taken out ... Then they say there is nothing in the hospital if you don't buy medicines at your own expense," says the author of the video.
Later, in its story, the "Grozny" TV Channel reported that the video had been shot near an ambulance station in the village of Avtury in the Shali District. The assumptions voiced by the author of the video were called "ungrounded."
The author of the video himself said that he was going to send the video to his friend, but accidentally sent it to a public group.
"It happened by chance ... I will try to prevent that from now on," said Adam Selimsultanov.
Aslanbek, a member of a Chechen NGO, called the reaction of the authorities to the publication of the video "fully expected."
