In November 2017, 15 people fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

In November 2017, at least 15 people fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, five were killed and ten others were wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

In Ingushetia, eight people fell victim to the armed conflict. Of them, three were killed and five others were wounded. In the course of an attack on a patrol-and-post service (known as PPS) checkpoint located near the village of Yandare, one law enforcer was killed and five others were injured; two suspected members of the armed underground were also killed.

In November, in Chechnya, five people fell victim to the armed conflict. Of them, two were killed and three others were wounded. As a result of an explosion, presumably, of a grenade on a wire, and in the course of an armed clash with militants, three law enforcers were injured. During the attack on law enforcers, two suspected members of the armed underground were killed.

In Dagestan, as a result of an attack of policemen, two persons were wounded, including a policeman and a suspected militant.

In November 2017, in Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Stavropol Territory, and North Ossetia-Alania, no victims to the armed conflict were registered.
