Attack on law enforcers is the third in Khasavyurt District since start of year

The attack on a policeman in the village of Endirei was preceded by attacks on law enforcers committed in the Khasavyurt District in August and September 2018.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 13, law enforcers blocked one of the private houses in the Endirei, from where fire was delivered, and began storming it.

For the first time this year, in the Khasavyurt District, law enforcers were attacked on August 29, when in the village of Toturbiykala an unidentified person opened fire at policemen, who asked him to show his documents. According to the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), two wounded policemen were taken to hospital. According to the calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", in the whole of Dagestan, the incident in Toturbiykala was the sixth attack on law enforcers since the start of the year.

On September 13, on the federal highway between the villages of Kostek and Chontaul, law enforcers were shelled by the driver of the car that they wanted to inspect. According to the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), the man was killed by return fire.
