Azeri political analysts warn about escalation threat of Karabakh conflict

The "Karabakh" Committee, which organized a rally for a forceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict, intends to continue holding rallies with demands to Azerbaijani authorities to launch resolute actions aimed to restore the country's territorial integrity. This was stated by Akif Nagi, a member of the above committee.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 29, a rally was held in Baku with a demand from Azerbaijani authorities to apply force for "liberation of Karabakh". The authorities have treated the rally as irrelevant, since "all resources are being used to resolve the conflict."

According to Akif Nagi, the purpose of the rally was "to increase public activeness to resolve the Karabakh conflict." He believes that the society is tired of fruitless negotiations.

"The April war of 2016 showed the high combat capacity of the Azerbaijani Army," Mr Nagi has stated.

In Azerbaijan, there is a request for a forceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict, Togrul Djuvarly, a member of the Azerbaijani National Public Committee for European Integration, believes. He has noted that the promotion of the rally was held in social networks only.

The rally was arranged by the authorities themselves, Zardusht Alizade, a political analyst, has suggested.

In his turn, Togrul Djuvarly believes that only in peace with Azerbaijan Armenia will be able to establish economic ties and communication with Azerbaijan and Turkey.

Rasim Musabekov, a political analyst, has noted that Azerbaijan rejected the attempt of the new Armenian authorities to return the NKR (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) to the negotiating table.
