Ramzan Kadyrov orders to conduct DNA tests in Chechnya to search for children in Iraq

In Chechnya, a collective donation of materials for DNA tests will be held to identify relatives of children from the Russian Federation who stay in the Middle East and to help them return home. That was reported by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.

On his page in the social network "VKontakte", the leader of Chechnya wrote that Ziyad Sabsabi, his representative in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, agreed in Iraq on consideration of all cases of Russian citizens by one judge. That will significantly shorten the time for consideration of cases to return children to the Russian Federation, Ramzan Kadyrov believes.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in April, Alisa Ismailova and Elvira Magomedkhanova, natives of Dagestan, and 19 other women from the Russian Federation were sentenced to life imprisonment in Iraq on the charge of involvement in the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS) banned in Russia.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) reports 50-70 women and more than 100 children, presumably Russian citizens, are being kept in prisons of Baghdad.

According to various estimates, in Iraq and Syria, there may be hundreds or even thousands of children from Dagestan, Chechnya, and other regions of the Caucasus.
