Magomedtagir Gadjiev's defence appeals against taking him into custody
The defence of Magomedtagir Gadjiev has appealed against the decision of the court to select against a truck driver, suspected of possession of weapons, the pre-trial restriction measure in the form of detention in custody. Relatives and fellow villagers of Magomedtagir Gadjiev believe he is not guilty.
The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that relatives reported the disappearance of Magomedtagir Gadjiev, a resident of the village of Gubden, on February 7. According to his family members and friends, the man worked as a truck driver, he left for Iran, but did not cross the border. He stopped answering calls to his mobile phone, which appeared to be switched off. On February 8, it became known that Magomedtagir Gadjiev had been detained by law enforcers.
The family members of Magomedtagir Gadjiev have been informed by the law enforcement bodies that a pistol was found when Magomedtagir Gadjiev had been searched. The relatives do not doubt that Magomedtagir Gadjiev could fell a victim to the law enforcers' arbitrariness.
"It is impossible to cross four borders with a pistol. He was going to work in Iran," a relative of one of Magomedtagir Gadjiev said.
He has also added that the appeal was filed on February 12.
