"Yabloko" reports enforcement of Stavropol students to collect signatures for Putin
The Dean's Office of a Department of a Stavropol higher school has asked students to participate in collecting signatures in support of Vladimir Putin; in the absence of volunteers, groups wardens are threatened to enrol students compulsorily, Valery Ledovsky, the head of the "Yabloko" Party Branch in the Stavropol Territory, has reported.
According to his story, he has screenshots of correspondence among students of a Stavropol higher school.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the voting at the presidential election in Russia will take place on March 18, 2018. The election campaign officially started on December 18.
"Since January 10, 2018, our department will be involved in collecting signatures in support of our President V. Putin; after obtaining consent (oral) of the group students, you should immediately send notice to the dean's office," reads the text received by group wardens of one of Stavropol higher schools.
One of the wardens has explained to the students of his group that they should agree to collect signatures in any case. "If there are no volunteers, I'll have to force you, excuse me," reads a screenshot provided by Valery Ledovsky.
Today, the information on compelling Stavropol students to collect signatures for Putin has appeared on the "Election Violations Map".
