Political analysts: Kadyrov's dispute with Zyuganov is an attempt to make a name as federal-level politician

The statement by Ramzan Kadyrov, the Chechen leader, about reburial of Vladimir Lenin's body and his angry comment on Gennady Zyuganov, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), show that Kadyrov is trying to act as a federal-level politician, believe the analysts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ramzan Kadyrov angrily commented on the position of the CPRF leader on the reburial of Vladimir Lenin's body, calling Zyuganov's ideological orientations "manifestations of senile dementia", and demanded an apology from him. Zyuganov refused to apologize, calling to respect the will of people, who had decided to bury Lenin in Red Square.

On the eve of the centenary of the October Revolution, a discussion arose in Russia about the burial of Vladimir Lenin's body. Gennady Zyuganov, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) launched a discussion in absentia with Ksenia Sobchak, a TV presenter, and Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, having accused supporters of Lenin's body burial of an attempt to split the society.

Dmitry Oreshkin, a political analyst, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that Kadyrov had never made similar statements addressed to "Zyuganov-level politicians" before.

"On the one hand, Kadyrov seems to be trying to observe a respectful attitude, because CPRF is an official, this is, a systemic opposition. Therefore, his rhetoric is a little less impudent, so to say. However, this happened for the first time; and it seems to me that all this had been coordinated with the Kremlin bosses," Mr Oreshkin believes.

According to Alexei Malashenko, the head of scientific researches at the "Dialogue of Civilizations" Institute, Kadyrov's latest statements are a personal "manifestation" of the Chechen leader.

"I think that in this case Ramzan Kadyrov is working more for himself, for his personal popularity in the republic. He wants to show once again that he is a federal-level politician," Mr Malashenko believes.
