Kuban activist arrested for reposting video with swastika

Raisa Pogodaeva, an opposition activist from the town of Goryachiy Klyuch, has been sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest for reposting a video of Kuban blogger Leonid Kudinov with a swastika. This has been reported by activist Darya Polyudova.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 1, an administrative case on demonstration of Nazi symbols was instituted against blogger Leonid Kudinov because of a video posted by him in Youtube. The video was dedicated to the case of Krasnodar activist Natalia Kudeeva, who was arrested for publishing a collage with a swastika and a picture of Vladimir Putin.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by Darya Polyudova that Raisa Pogodaeva was arrested in the evening of October 27.

The administrative case against Raisa Pogodaeva was instituted some time ago, and the activist was summoned to the Prosecutor's Office, noted Krasnodar activist Dmitry Shklyaev. The case was instituted under Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda or public demonstration of Nazi attributes or symbols).

"I know that the administrative case was instituted a long time ago. Meanwhile, yesterday, policemen suddenly came to her home, forced her to go out and took her to court," Dmitry Shklyaev informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
