On the eve of the arrival of Tatiana Moskalkova, Russia’s Ombudsperson, relatives of Chechen residents from the "execution list" received threats from law enforcers, the BBC reports citing the relatives.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today Ms Moskalkova has stated that three persons from the "execution list" had perished after fighting in Chechnya; two others died a natural death. According to her, the list contains 31 persons in total.

According to the BBC, on the eve of Moskalkova's visit, relatives of the missing people were told that "an inspection is coming from Moscow, don’t try to contact them; and if they want to contact you and you tell them something, it will be bad for you."

Besides, according to sources, many relatives are pressed to "confirm that their sons had left for Syria."

Alvi Karimov, the press secretary of Chechnya's leader, Ramzan Kadyrov, has refuted any pressure on relatives.
