In Grozny, Timati's burger restaurant opened under snipers’ control
On September 19, at the opening of the Timati's restaurant in Grozny, Ramzan Kadyrov handed out burgers to the first visitors, being guarded by armoured vehicles and soldiers. This was reported by local residents.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 19, the police partially blocked Putin Avenue in connection with the opening in Grozny of a Black Star Burger restaurant, co-owned by singer Timur Yunusov (known as Timati).
The leader of Chechnya and Timati personally prepared and distributed burgers to visitors.
"In total, about 1000 burgers were distributed free of charge," reported an official from the Grozny City Mayor's Office.
According to the official, the restaurant is designed for 180 visitors, and it offers only halal dishes (allowed for Muslims).
"The restaurant will be primarily of interest for young people, guests of Grozny, and tourists," suggested the official from the City Mayor's Office.
Imran, a student of the local university, believes the Timati's burger restaurant will be in demand among young people.
On the eve of the restaurant's opening, several quarters in the city centre were blocked by heavy military vehicles, the police and soldiers, reported Aizan, a resident of Grozny.
