Schoolgirl rescues two children from fire in Babayurt
In a Dagestani village, a third-form schoolgirl has taken two five- and six-year-old girls out of a burning apartment. This was reported by the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) on September 12.
The fire occurred in one of the apartments located on the second floor of an apartment building in the village of Babayurt, reported a press officer from the Dagestani MfE on September 12.
According to his report, a nine-year-old schoolgirl, who happened to be near a burning house, saved five- and six-year-old girls, the TASS reports.
Later, the third-form schoolgirl of the rural school No. 3 said that on September 5, her mother sent her to neighbours to take home utensils. When the girl saw a smoke, she wanted to run away, but she heard the voices of little girls who called for help, reported the message posted on the Dagestani MfE's website on September 12.
"I was very scared, but I entered the house and began to call them. When they ran to me, I grabbed their hands and rushed to the exit. We were running to my yard without turning around," said the schoolgirl as quoted by the press service for the Dagestani MfE.
