Political analysts doubt Mikhail Saakashvili's return to Georgia under "Ukrainian scenario"

The confrontation with the Ukrainian authorities, entered by Mikhail Saakashvili, the former Georgian President, has become one of the urgent topics discussed in the Georgian blogosphere. In Ukraine, Mikhail Saakashvili has spit on the laws of the country and once again demonstrated his "fighting spirit." This opinion is expressed by Internet users.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, Mikhail Saakashvili and his supporters broke through the cordon near the "Shegini" crossing point on the Polish-Ukrainian border. According to the "Interfax", during the incident 11 policemen and five border guards received traumas.

At his homeland, the former Georgian president is accused of a number of crimes, including embezzlement of state funds and abuse of office. On August 18, the Georgia’s General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) reported that it had asked Ukraine law enforcers to extradite Saakashvili.

In Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili has no chance of winning, believes Zurab Zurabishvili, a member of the Tbilisi Sakrebulo (city parliament).

"Mikha (Mikhail Saakashvili) has no chance for victory in Georgia. However, if he [becomes President] of Ukraine, then we will have the Ukrainian-Georgian Confederation. I am joking, but what I see is not completely unrealistic," Zurab Zurabishvili wrote on his Facebook page.

According to Zaal Andjaparidze, a Georgian political analyst and a member of the NGO "Free Citizen", by returning to Ukraine, Mikhail Saakashvili has demonstrated his "fighting spirit," which he showed during his coming to power in Georgia.

A similar situation could have happened again in Georgia if there were not so many opponents of Mikhail Saakashvili in the country, believes a blogger of the "Caucasian Knot" aka BERG... man Tbilisi.

"Many liberals, democrats, and members of various parties express the same opinion concerning the Mikhail Saakashvili's behaviour... And only the Mishists (Mikhail Saakashvili's supporters, – note of the 'Caucasian Knot')... rejoice... dreaming of taking Kiev and then Tbilisi... Such people are dangerous not only in politics, but also in general... even in the family environment... The sect members trusting Misha will cross over everything without batting an eyelid and break any law," wrote the blogger on September 12 in his post "In Ukraine, the Mishists threaten Kiev under the guise of democracy and people's support... What a circus performance!!!"
